View Full Version : tivoweb info module and unsubbed tivo

Hi,

I modified my info module on tivoweb because it seemed to barf whenever it tried to access schedule information. Since my tivo is unsubbed, I guess it tries to access a bunch of stuff that is not there. All I did was comment out the stuff that seemed to try accessing the schedule info. I'm sure someone here can do a better job of it but I post it here in case it's useful to someone. It still tells temp and mem usage which is what I needed.


rename this file to info.itcl and replace the one in your /var/hack/tivoweb/modules directory

I had problems like this too. You have to download the right version. I tried many versions until I got the right one. I can tar up my unsubbed standalone tivoweb installtion and Email it to you. Send me a PM with an Email address so I can send the tar file.

I know this is an old thread, but I have unsubbed tivo I use for storeage for mrv. Is there any way to get Nowshowing in tivoweb. I always get no such variable even though I have things in the nowshowing directory.4.01b dtivo

I have the same problem, I have been searching everywhere and I cannot find anything about the now showing part of tivowebplus. Jut errors, tried to track them down and thought it was a bad link to the dir's but they are fine and there are recodings on the tivo.

Just have to look more and if I find anything I will post it.

This thread seemed a little bit timely for me. I am thinking of unsubbing my second tivo and just letting it be mrv storage for my primary tivo which would do all the recording. Am I going to have problems with this configuration once the tivo becomes unsubbed?

Not likely I have modified the ui and index files. Works pretty good. I will post when I get done..
