I'm running 2.5.2 (got there via xupgrade) and I can no longer setup my Tivoweb to be hit from the outside (I don't leave it like that). I 'think' this happened when I went to Verizon DSL. I had problems sending any mail when I switched over as well and needed to change my systems MTU to match the 1492 of the PPPoE protocol. I was wondering if that may be my trouble here to so I did an ifconfig and saw that the MTU is set to 1500 on the Tivo. Is there anyway to set this manually that you guys know?
Thanks!

I thought this was going to be an easy one. Anybody?

ifconfig eth0 mtu 1492
Although the man pages are not present on the tivo, a google search for "ifconfig linux" will show you the options available.
1492 should give you a TCP MSS of 1452. If it still does not work sniff the wire to make sure the MSS is correct. Ideally your router will be doing this for you.
