OK, I've tried several searches and I can't find a good answer: Is there a way to disable NOSDD?

Try deleting the nosdd script from your DTivo. From what I understand, if it can't find it, it won't run it. Ideally, the best way would be to comment out the line in whatever file that calls the script to run so it never occurs. I'm no Linux guru so I have no idea where it's located or in what file. I'm not even sure if it's called out in a boot file such as rc.sysinit. It may be run in the nackground using cron. One of the experts here can tell you for sure.

I am using SuperZaps xPlusz on a 2.5.2 DTiVo. Is there an xPluszommand to stop it? If there is I can't seem to find it.

on command line you can run the xp command:
xp "#29,0"
that should turn it off
or u can do it from the call waiting prefix screen per usual.
Reboot is probably needed for the change
to take effect.

I was under the impression, if you're using a hacked Dtivo, you want NOSDD on?
Why do you want it disabled? (just curious, so I can learn too)
