Does anyone know if there are any 802.11g cards that work with AIRnet?

I'm curious about this too?
Is there any danger in buying one and trying it after you have successfully installed a 802.11b card? (ie; power down and swap out the B card for a G card and power back up?)
I mean, it would either work or not right????

Different chip sets, it won't work, the driver needs to be correct. I don't know if Jafa or anyone else has written an 802.11g driver.

I tried the Linksys WIRELESS G 802.11g card and it's just not recognized. I am using a Linksys switch and I can get initial speeds of nearly 3.0 but then I average out at 800K. No, trying it didn't kill my machine (although I'm getting tires of S-P-S-3-0-S and it was damned hard to get the Linksys card to fit into the Airport slot). People say the necessary thing is the drivers. Well where the heck do you put the drivers in the TiVo? And how do you integrate that into the mfs_ftp program or do you even have to - is the command set the same?
Ugh.
