TivoTitle, Not working?

I enabled TivoTitle in xPlusz 3.10, I'm running 2.5.2 software btw, on a series 1 Dtivo.

But none of my titles in Now Showing have changed, new recordings (or old recordings either)

They still say "ER" (for example), nothing else, I was under the impression it would say something like "ER: Emergency At Heart" (or something to that effect.)

Any idea's?

It may take a while for the changes to appear in the show titles. I can't remember if it affects shows already on the drive but I believe it only works for new recordings made since it was enabled. I tried it for a while but found it to be extremely annoying since the episode title was repeated with the show title whenever I extracted a show, making for some unwieldy ty file names. Otherwise, it does come in handy when you've got about a hundred or so episodes of the same show with nothing to differentiate between them except the air date.

Tivotitle has been on for about 3-4 days now... I didn't per se install anything, just enabled it with xPlusz (#25,1) and set it to run at :23 and :53 mins past the hour (#16,23,53)

And I'm still not seeing anything additional in the titles to any new recordings from regular tv shows (abc, nbc, cbs, etc) to cable shows (hbo, show, max, tmc, usa, wgn, etc)

I must have something wrong somewhere.

I am having the same problem.

DSR6k with fresh install of xtreme2.5 then upgraded to xtreme3.1 using superzaps upgrade.

TivoTitle is not functioning properly. In /var/hack/xPlusz/tivotitle.log I find numerous entries as follows:
TmkLogger: <134>Sep 30 00:31:01 tcl[1269]: Tcl created pool of 1458176 bytes
No EventSwitcher active
while executing
"dbopen $dbPoolSize"
(file "/hack/bin/xPlusz/TivoTitlesz.tcl" line 121)

Any ideas?

Reboot.

You have hit the known 3.1 bug that stops tcl scripts from running due to a bug in EventSwitcher.

Reboot and try it again

I've been researching after my above post and found a thread mentioning this known bug. However, if I check back far enough in the log, I find entries where TivoTitle chose not to modify a program name. I suppose I need to figure out the criteria. Specifically, it was a couple of episodes of CSI. Could it have skipped them because they are "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations" and are so long that they can't be increased?

On a separate note, if I greatly lower the frequency of TivoTitle will it allow the system to run longer without a reboot?
