Hi all i been doing this tivo hacking for a long time so iam not new.

i reinstalled my tivo 1 hughes with 25xtreme did the tuch and know doing the mvch135 edit the files send them over to the var/hack.

the channle.dat is still in unix format this my output. I did this about 1 year ago and it worked fine and got my locals. But does this look right

i reset the tivo and i get no locals after 2 days of wateing for them to come in. I did call dtv and ask then to send me a new p4 card my might be brocken. i don't know how or why but just in case it was free anyways.

i only want the AT channels but i don't think it's loading right way.

does that look right to your all. All files are in var/hack iam useing 2.5 NOT 2.5.2.


Is there a newer mvch ?


also i did the setup guide and it locks up at 28 when it's testing the dish set up. If i unplug the disk in cable get passed that part them plug it back in i can get thought the guide other wise no.

Do a clear and delete everything with your sat feeds unhooked. After it clears all (1 hour) and it searches for signal pull the plug. Install 2.5.2 upgrade by iso CD or bash transfer. Read the readme in the sticky up top for exact directions. It is waay better than 2.5, all the hacks are included and used via remote, your going about it the old way, save grief and time and get your locals, no need for touch either. Xplusz has all the hacks in one package with remtoe control commands to run.......

I wrote a tutorial on installing 2.5Xtreme and the 2.5.2 upgrade to make it as painless as possible and it will also restore your locals. Look for it on page 4 of the How Tos Only sticky thread near the top of this forum.

ok i did the sz 2.5.2 update on the tivo.

and did the xplusz commands

46,1 The TIVOFTPD Not working the ip# is 192.168.1.128 and can't get in useing ftp port 21.

i can't get the video off the tivo useing TyTool7r8.exe. I copyed over tserver_mfs6 and nowShowing.tcl to my var/hack did chmod 777 on both files then did a ./tserver_mfs6. I ran TyTool7r8.exe and used 192.168.1.128 and then the program closes. Why ?
