I have a DSR 7000 and I used the u5-151-hacked.mfs image on a new 120 gig hard drive. When I check the recording capacity it says up to 105 hours. Is that the right total? I'm new and couldn't find anything that gave a rough breakdown on how much time you'd end up with.

Not whining about the amount, I just want to make sure I did the image properly.

When you take into account the amount of space taken up by the Tivo OS (I'm guessing roughly about 12-15GB for larger drives), you should then see about 1GB per hour of recording capacity. I have four DTivos and this relationship seems to hold true for all of them (two DTivos with one 120GB and one 40GB drive for a total of about 147 hours; one DTivo with two 120GB drives for a total of 225 hours; one DTivo with one 120GB drive for a total of 105 hours). This relationship seems to vary with smaller drives (the stock 40GB drive indicates a total of about 35 hours). One of the more Linux-savvy members can probably explain why this is so.
