i'm having a weird problem with some old (not that old, recorded under 2.5) ty streams. they seem to be fine through the make key files, edit key files, vob mux steps, but when i try to create ifo dirs, the dvdauthor window for these tys behaves strangely.
specifically, it's going through the first "phase" of the process (the one where the "gop is not closed on a cell boundary" errors show), but after some period it just stops making progress. the numbers quit increasing, but there's no error message, and there's no excessive cpu usage, so it's not like it's looping. after a few minutes, it seems to "give up" on the first stage and begins the second. that completes (seemingly) ok, but only up to the vobu that the first pass "stalled" on.
the resultant ifo set reveals that the show only "lasts" until the time of the "stall", then it starts over.
i've tried it with no cuts, but it still does it. has anyone else seen this?
