hey gang
i havent seen a post for this so i figured i would start one as your blank media can be as important as your player sometimes. the cheapest i have found is the Khypermedia on tigerdirect.com. they are 25.99 for 25, dvd+r that is. i was wondering if anyone has used these and if so how are they for reliable burns. i ordered the BMI from tiger before and overall they are not too bad. i did have some they turned out to be bad burns from the disc that became a nice coaster. my malata dvd region free player also is not always take to them i would get a clean me error after a burn every so often. i have been using maxell's of late which of course cost more money but are much more reliable and no coasters so far from them. so theres the start tell us what you think with your reviews of what you use and maybe we can make this a sticky. oh yeah my burn speed is 2.4.
thanx
ps if you know of a cheaper place to purchase let us know that too that is very important for the amount of dvd's most of us do.

there's a lot of talk over at dvdrhelp.com about this, but...

the ritek 1x work really good for me, and are usually pretty cheap. i think there's some bad stuff aboutthe khyper stuff over at dvdhelp.com, but i could be thinking of something else. verbatim seems to be crap, but tdk is pretty good.

This has been gone over time and again here, at doom9.org, and at dvdrhelp.com.
