copying/moving recordings to new DirecTivo

I currently have an HDR312 with two 120GB drives.

I have just purchased a Phillips DirecTiVo. I plan to install two 120GB drives in this unit as well.

question:

Can I copy my recordings from my old TiVo to the new DirecTiVo?
If so, is there a guide out there for this? I looked at the Hinsdale guide, but could not find a section specifically on this.

If it can be done, I would appreciate some help. My linux experience is limited, but I am extremely savy on the PC/Windows side.

Search for mfs_ftp

Since your old unit is a Series 1 SA, it should not have scrambled shows. This means no encryption key, therefore, I am under the impression you SHOULD be able to insert it it into your new unit.
