ACK OMG no telnet

ACK, after leaving my series 1 to record to its heart content i go to telnet into it and what do i get? "can not connect" hmm, this is a problem, i have tivoweb but no ftp either. anyone have any ideas before i have to crack the beast open again?

Brought the tivo over to my comp hooked up the serial and hit enter within 5 seconds of putting power to it and got verify password, anyone have the password i cant get bash.....

Working with tivoweb you need to edit httpd-tt.tcl Line#28 (or close to the top) and 'comment' out the "setpri fifo 1" command with #

#setpri fifo 1

Tivoweb will hog everything and bog the other 'net' access methods down. Then, restart the server and Thank MuscleNerd!

If it was working before you don't have to enter any kind of password. It's likely that 'hitting enter' or not is the problem or you've gotten an update that has 'removed' all your wonderful access methods. Have you confirmed that you still have any hacks present?
