Hello All,
I'm a newbie and I was hoping that someone could answer a few questions. I have successfully monte'd my dsr7000 and installed ftp, tivoweb and several other hacks with the help of this forum. Now I'm at a loss, I have read for almost three days now, but I can't figuire out what to do next (I'm probably not searching for the right thread).
1. Do I need to protect the unit from upgrades after monte? If so what is the preferred Method.
2. I would like to configure the unit to use the ethernet instead of the phone for tivo recording info. I have read about #401 and fixsub and debug_board=true, but I don't know if I need one or all of these enhancements or where to find a good how to.
