My TiVo A drive won't spin up in a PC after I was upgraded to 3.1b overnight last night...

Has anybody else seen similar or have a suggested soluction?

Drive in any PC won't spin... it's a Maxtor 120g. it will spin in TiVo if both data and power are connected... but won't otherwise spin up.

I put mine back in to make a backup of 3.1.1b before restoring to 3.1. Worked just fine. I have no idea what could be wrong.

as it turns out, the 12V power pin on the HDD is bent... the power connector on the TiVo made a partial connection--when the data cable was plugged in, it made contact because the data cable pushed on the power connector... nothin' a pair of needle-nosed pliers can't handle...
