I recently upgraded to the 3.1 version of software and finally got it working without any bugs.
I have a question regarding fixsub.
My HDVR2 is across the room from my phone jack and I don't like having it plugged in all the time.
When I go into my account status it says that my service data was downloaded correctly, which I assume comes form the satellite, but my phone call failed.
When I run fixsub, it resets the phone call to succeeded. Is there anything else I need to do to avoid the anoying pop-up messages?
I plan on calling in and uploading all of my purchase data periodically. Is there a timeframe I have to do this under before DTV freezes up or forces me to make the call?
