Starting from Scratch?

Hey all.

I have a GXCEBOT series 1 Dtivo. It has been previously modified by someone else. I can't get the TurboNet install to work as it seems some files on the unit have been modified/moved by the person who did the work initially.

My question is, I have another blank drive, and I'd like to "start fresh" with nothing on it. I want to rebuild the Tivo from scratch, so I can install tips/tricks from this board without issue.

Is this possible...and if so, I'd appreciate suggestions.

Look here. (http://dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=112382&highlight=Heres+a+detailed+tutorial#post112382) The tutorial will get you set up with the upgraded OS. You will need to learn the xPlusz commands to set up your hacks once you've installed the upgrade.
