I searched around and didn't see this posted anywhere else so I assume I am either the first one to open TivoWeb this morning or am having some serious issues.

To my suprise, my TivoWeb color scheme turned black and orange this morning. I am hoping this is some Halloween specific coding.

Does anyone know?

JJ, I recently hacked my TiVo and had heard rumors about TivoWeb doing some nasty things to your machine if they detected something they didn't like.

Just wanted to make sure this wasn't anything more than a seasonal gag.

It's a seasonal gag.

tivoweb does not like Xtreme'd machines. But that has nothing to do with the color change

this has been known for a while. it has a hidden theme in the base64 encoded stuff, which gets uses on the 31st...for once an easter egg in tivoweb that isnt 'moralityware'

That makes sense as to why mine is not doing it. I am running a version that TheWickedPriest cleaned of all that base64 crap.

See this thread... http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26269

Yeah, I broke it out into a separate "halloween.css" file. You can use it like the other themes.

BTW, the other day I found a line I missed. It doesn't do anything bad; it's just one of those encoded ANSI strings that aren't used for anything. It's the line in modules/ui.itcl that starts "set fsid [binary format H*". You can just take it out.

Cool I have been using your cleaned version for several months with no problems. I will clean this last bit out....
