kmem corruption?

I have successfully hacked my HDV2. I applied the kmem patch to hackinit as suggested in Cobellis guide.. but now when I try to record or go to Now Playing I Get a message saying there is a hardware error. It used to record fine.

Anyone have any suggestions or insights?
