DSR6k will not update to 3.1b

I got my update to 3.1b on my T-60, and I did a nic-install in my PC, and evrything is back up running.

So I forced a call on my DSR6k to see if it would get the update also, so I could re-do the nic-install while I had the PC set up for TiVo work. The call resulted in a 'pending restart', so I rebooted to start the new version. The TiVo came up in the old 3.1 (non-b) version, and no more 'pending restart'. I did this a few more times with the same result.

I went through my rc.sysinit to make sure I did not have any updatesoftware=false, or any commented out lines. I have looked through the logs, but have not been able to find any clues.

Can anybody point me to where I should start looking ?

I found my problem. I went through and compared the Okernel log between the T60 and the DSR6K, and I found what was missing in th e DSR6k. Of course it was my own dumb mistake, I had missed one line in rc.sysinit, where I had commented out some lines to avoid the update.
