Monte okay, but 3.1b showing up as 3.1-151???

I decided to manually upgrade my monte'd DTivo from 3.1-151 to 3.1b. Everything went fine except that the software version is showing up as 3.1-151 instead of 3.1b. Is there something else I need to do or is this what I should expect when doing a manual update? I've done this twice with the same results and I'm fairly confident that I did everything right. I also see where 'vertex' in the two-card monte post is experiencing similar results.

Steps...
I dd'ed partitions 6 & 7 (bootpage = 7 on the 3.1b DTivo) off of my other DTivo that had taken the download via the phone line. I then dd'ed these two partitions to my monte'd drive. I killed the init and resetup all of my hacks.

Any insight would be appreciated!!

The "version" info is read from MFS, which isn't upgraded by dd'ing. Check the standard install scripts to see what else has to be done. (I let mine upgrade itself, so that's all the guidance I can give.)
