Tytools 8r3a crashing during extraction

Hello,

I am trying to extract a 1654mb movie using the latest tytools suite. If I try to extract is using multiplex then the client will crash before the transfer begins (I am running on XP pro). If I transfer using tystream then it works fine. I have also tried version 7r7 with the same results.

I also noticed if I transfer a much smaller file (30mb) using multiplex then it is succesful so file size may be a factor (yes, I have plenty of free space :) ).

Have you tried the Single Socket networking mode yet? Or double if you're using single. Are you using the same nowshowing.tcl that came with 8r3? Why not just transfer in tystream mode if you have enough hard drive space?

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have tried both single and double threaded with the same results. I am currently using tystream mode but then converting it to mpeg via tystudios. I was just wondering why I wasn't able to use multiplex.
