Almost there?

I was trying to add a second drive to my DSR6000 - got it all done and the recording time was still 35 hrs - decide to abort and go back to my original system. Everything seemed to be working fine... rebooted several times. Replaced all the screws, and now the system won't go past the 'Almost there' screen.

Anyone have any ideas? Bash is up and running, but I don't know what to look at.

If you added a 2nd drive then it's married to the original drive. You can't simply pull it out of the system and expect it to work without it. Try expanding the drives again using the MFS Tools 2.0 boot disk and the following command:

mfsadd -x /dev/hdc /dev/hdb

where the A drive is configured as secondary master and the B drive is installed as primary slave.
