HDVR2 Wont get past Powering Up! Help!!!

My recently purchased Series 2 died! It wont get past the 'Powering up' screen and reboots. Unfortunately, I never got to backup the A Drive. I've obtained the image from this site and used mfsrestore 2.0 to put the image on the drive. No luck! Keeps rebooting! Any ideas anyone?

Power it on without a drive connected.
That will tell you if it is a corrupt image or dead drive if the reboot goes away.

what image did you use? what steps did you take to restore? the restore image is it on a fat32 hd?
