OK.. i use tytool 8 to get the ty to my comp in mpeg form... my question is im trying to make a dvd of some of the vid caps i have done and i use m2-edit, that has serveral errors with the mpegs that tytools creates. The gop cut editor doesn't cut the scenes correct (it always leaves a small bit of what im trying to edit out in the mpeg im using). So is there a better editor that likes the mpeg from tytool and that can go down to milli-seconds liek m2-edit can.

Check out Womble's MPEG2VCR.

Well, it looks like the only thing that will edit down to a millasecond (or so) is vegas, but wth that you have to re-encode the mpeg. arrrgh! M2-edit is usaly great but doesn't like the tytool mpegs.

MPEG2VCR will give you frame accurate edits with ty mpegs. Just extract the ty files and mux them to an mpeg file. Import the mpeg into MPEG2VCR and make your cuts. Check out TRILIGHT's guide for details on using MPEG2VCR and DVD-Lab for authoring the mpegs to DVD.
