I am using a Belkin F5D5050 USB Ethernet hooked up and I am using the Pegasus driver as such:
insmod /lib/modules/usbcore.o
insmod /lib/modules/usb-ohci.o
sleep 10
insmod /lib/modules/pegasus.o
My Nic Adapter lights up (orange) but I can't ping it. If I IFCONFIG it gives me my ip of 192.168.x.y, and my machine is on the same subnet. (192.16.x.z.)
Has anyone had any problems getting the F5D5050 working?

I finally figured it out, it was the network drivers. I went and got the driver out of my original dtivo in the folder /diag. Copy to the location that you are referring to and you should be good to go. PM me if you have any questions.

I have a Hughes HDVR2 (I purchased it already modified) with software version 3.1.0-01-2-151
I am using a Belkin F5D5050 and I am unable to communicate with my tivo.
When I connect with hyperterminal I have the bash prompt #
1) When I type
insmod /lib/modules/usbcore.o
it tells me : insmod: a module named usbcore already exists
2) When I type
insmod /lib/modules/usb-ohci.o
it gives me this message
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b383 in kernel mode at 0xc0119428
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b383 in kernel mode at 0xc011943c
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b4a3 in kernel mode at 0xc0119428
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b4a3 in kernel mode at 0xc011943c
3) when I type
insmod /lib/modules/pegasus.o
the adapter light turns on (orange)
4) When I type
ifconfig 192.168.0.200 broadcast 192.168.0.255 netmask 255.255.255.0
route add default gw 192.168.0.1 netmask 0.0.0.0 metric 1
I start receiving so many ...
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b383 in kernel mode at 0xc0119428
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b383 in kernel mode at 0xc011943c
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b4a3 in kernel mode at 0xc0119428
Unaligned Access to 0x80a9b4a3 in kernel mode at 0xc011943c
...that I cannot write anything , and I cannot ping my tivo.
I have tried to use the drivers in the folder /diag without success.
