HDR212 powers up but no screen

Recieved a hdr212, when powered on only snow on tv. Took hardrive out , put in other unit and it works. So, the hard drive works, tried swapping all the cables Any ideas on what to check next or what to check with a meter? Have looked for burn't areas but did't see any.

Is there any way to trouble shoot the power supply? I swaped

out the power supply with another unit and it started working.

I was wondering if there may just be a capacitor that goes bad or

something. Trying not to have to buy the whole power unit if I

don't have to.
