NOPPV help needed!

I upgraded to 2.5.2, got everthing working but NOPPV. I read all the links, tried all the steps, some a few times. Maybe I am missing something not sure.

When I go to a PPV a couple hours ahead, hit record and it gives me the option to record showing. I select it and it goes to the "To do list" but only records the first 5 minutes. The screen says press select for ordering info.

When I check the list of xplusz, it shows 102 channels fixed. It don't give me the option to buy and record as it does on the current ppv.

I've run the noppv manual and set it to 300 seconds and 7200 seconds. It seems to fix the showings but I guess something still ain't right. I deleted the st.dat file, ran the dump, ran the ppv script but I still can't record a future ppv. The fight for tomorrow night still asks for purchase and record info, but don't give me the option.

Everything seems to be working fine.

noppv.tcl does not enable free PPV movies. That would be stealing.

Set the Tivo to record the show you like, then call DTV and purchase the show over the phone, or on their web site.

Simple.

I understand that but its not giving me the opportunity to purchase the ppv event. This morning when I got up it was working correctly. Gave me purchase info, then when I went there it gave me the option the purchase and record. Now it's back to record only option. No purchase, so it won't let me purchase a future event, just record it. Without purchasing it, all I get is 5 minutes and then black screen.

yup, thats exactly how it works. once you have run the script, you will need to manually purchase your ppvs by calling dtv or by using their website. without the script, you can purchase like normal, but you cant buy stuff more than 24 hrs ahead of time.

Ok after a lot more reading, I got what I needed. "This script does not benefit people with a subbed card or activation. It is meant to benefit the open ppv's(3m) card. Now I understand, I have a subbed card so I wasted a lot of time cause I was confused. Sorry for the trouble.
