View Full Version : Can you expand a drive after hacking it?

I recently restored my backup image (from a 35 hour HDVR2) to a 120GB drive, then expanded it to ugrade the hours. I then set up bash, installed hacks, networked it--the whole deal. However, when I created a new backup image of this hacked drive, it said it backed it up based on 39GB. So, if I mess up the hacks somehow and have to do a restore, can I restore, and then run the expand command ("mfsadd -x /dev/hdc"), or will it disturb my hacks?
