Does anyone know where I can get an SVR2000 Drive Image. My drive has a bad sector (reported by the Maxtor utility) and my backup that I made a long time ago is of the 2.0.1 software which now refuses to connect to Tivo to do any updates.

You can email me at dealdatabase_bblank.mailshell.com (replace the underscore with an "at" sign).

Thanks,
Brian

I need a SVR2000 image as well. Trying to fix a friend's tivo and she never had a backup (never hacked it). I don't think my HDR212 images will work.

if anyone here ends up hearing from diepolder5, would you be kind enough to PM me? I'll attempt to do the same (got a PM waiting for him)...

I'd hate to lose any more $$$ on a sub for a currently useless TiVo.

Tivo inc really frowns on web sites handing these images out. Try emule.

<whisper>Uh, yeah, we know that - that's why we are asking for a Private Message.</whisper>

Tried eDonkey. Bittorrent searching on isohunt and suprnova turn up nothing for Sony. Any other ideas?
