I've recently started mentally ignoring posts that are not sensible, show a lack of reading, ask questions answered 1000s of times before etc..
What I really want is to not see their other posts over the next 2 weeks or so while they ask over and over again.
I'd like a way to ignore for a while with a click but have them RE-appear un-ignored later.
This, of course, is to prevent me from having to keep purging my ignore list which will grow from the 0 it's at currently to overflowing...
It seems that then I could personally 'filter' without the board having to try to figure out when a newbie has decided, in my opinion, to help themselves and read enough to get smart enough to post.
I can decide when, in MY opinion, I'm willing to read their posts again but it'll be sort've automated... ;)
I'm only trying to run this idea by everyone not start anything.
[EDIT] The member who prompted my epiphany was TiVoCaddy. LOL, a few minutes after I posted this I see that in 7 posts he's already annoyed others, broken forum rules, and gotten close to being banned. I find that hilarious.

PS. No yeast was harmed in the forming of this idea or post.
(But, my yeastie vs. brain cell war will begin in about an hour.)
