I'm trying to copy over my dying 80GB hard drive to a new 80GB drive. The problem is that the old one is reporting 80060 MB and the new one is 80026 MB. Even though the backup that MFS Tools is copying is only 74GB, it sees the 34MB difference in size of the two drives and won't go any further. Is there a way around this, or am I just SOL and stuck with exchanging it for a bigger drive?

You need a bigger drive or at least one of the same size.

1) Not a HARDWARE issue, this is user error. Stick this crap in the NEWBIE forum.

2) Extract your unscrambled recordings, reimage, and restore your recordings to the new drive.
