If youve modded your tivo case, post the pics here!
I had an extra cooling fan lying around. I figured it wouldnt be a bad idea to add some extra cooling after installing a second drive. I couldnt help but throw a red led in there.
Anyone think its too much for the power supply?

Nice clean mod. I hope your sending flow of air in same direction as fan on back of dtivo. But power supply should hold up just fine. Many people are running 2nd hard drives on their tivo's. So a fan couldn't hurt.

Yep, made sure of that. Average temp went from 115 F to 83F with the fan. And its not too noisy either!

What brand fan are you using and where did you get it from?

Im using an Athlon XP stock cpu fan that i had lying around. Its normally loud, but i wired a resistor to it to slow it down.
