will svr2000 image work on svr3000

I have both and the svr3000 drive died.
Will the SVR2000 drive work in it?
Are they basically the same? Or is 1 a series 1 and the other a series 2?

Different series. It will not work.

The drive itself should work, you would have to put a dsr3000 image on it however.
