HDR212 Image on a HDR112 Tivo???

Hello all, hopefulyl someone can help me here. I need to restore my Tivo here and have the chance to get a HDR212 image. My Tivo is a HDR112. So, is it possible to use this image file I can get? If I need to buy a larger hard drive, I am cool with that... but hopefully it can be done. I'm at about my whit's end trying to fix this guy.

i'm pretty sure the phillips images are compatible. Just the harddrive needs to be at least as big as the original. so, you couldn't use 15GB drive with a hdr212 image, but would need at least a 30GB.

all s1 standalone images will work on any s1 standalone. you want to get a non-sony image for your non-sony unit, since sony uses different remotes (not that it cant be changed, but its easier this way). main issue is that the hard drive is big enough for the image.
