I did the FTP transfer to my TiVo, SA2, with OS 4.01. I checked the directory, and the files are where they belong. I did the instruction for read write (mount -o remount,rw /). I gave the system permission to execute the fies with the chmod command, and tried to open with the ./ command. When I try to execute the tserver file, I get the following:

tivo:/usr/tytools$ dir
NowShowing.tcl tserver_mfs7_mips
tivo:/usr/tytools$ chmod +x tserver_mfs7_mips
tivo:/usr/tytools$ chmod +x NowShowing.tcl
tivo:/usr/tytools$ ./tserver_mfs7_mips
failed to open []
Not a TiVo super block! (magic=0x00000000)

Where am I going wrong??? I am at a stumbling block here, and until I get this solved, I won't be able to extract any video. Once I finally get this solved, then I can start to learn how to manage the video with the PC. Thank you for any help to get past this hurdle.

I suspect the answer will be the same as before. Do a search. This has been discussed many times. It is a common problem with an answer to be found with little to no effort.
