I have a rca dvr40 that has been modified with all the hacks from tivoscripts and an edited dssappAV for the HU. Everything works great but my receiver id is all zeros. I don't think it will cause any problems, I was just wondering why it is that way.

There is no reason to be running HU on dtivo. DSS hacking is not allowed. Undo your modifications and then do a clear and delete everything.
