I have searched many threads but nothing as to how to fix this.
After installing Sleepers ISO hacks I am unable to get any local channels on the TV, I been running this system for a couple of weeks and still nothing.
I have called DTV and they say they should be there but still nothing. Is there a file I have to install or an additional hack to allow the Locals to work.

If you have a legit sub with locals then they will come in eventually. It takes a while for the locals to show up in the guide so be patient. I'm assuming you went through guided setup before posting this question. If not, then you should try it. You will need to let the DTivo make a call as part of the setup but all it does is download a list of local access numbers.

I have the same problemm I sleepered one box with 3.1.1b and it didn't have this problem but the box I sleepered with the 3.1.1c image I got off of emule... it does have my subscription information which is strange because all the showtime, cinemax hbo's etc are enabled. as are the abc east west fox east west etc.. but no local channels.. me thinks something strange is going on here.. which sucks because before I noticed this I got msftp tyserver vserver the newest web server and every damn thing working great on the box..... now I may have to abandon the stupid thing and go back to the 3.1.1b image I have for it... and wait till I download 3.1.1c myself... sigh. sigh...

lgkahn... same thing happened to me. I upgraded to 3.1.1c and monte'ed and put in the lba48 kernel, and lost me locals. I just called up DirecTV, they did something on their end, and they showed up right away.

The local tier on your access card went away when you updated. You could have waited a few hours (maybe overnight) and it would have come back naturally when your tier info was transmitted over the stream. Or as you found out you can ask the DTV people to send the info on the stream right away.

These people calling about upgrading and not having locals is part the reason why image sharing has been stopped. DTV got tired of answering all the calls.
How hard is it, within 3hrs they come in on their own.
By the way, thx for killing image sharing. Enjoy your locals.

Well, I have had one tivo that when I monte it takes about 12 hours to get locals. And another that takes 48 to 72 hours.

Just curious, is this shere conjecture or do you have some evidence that supports this statement?

The actual reason that image sharing was halted is pure speculation but it was halted shortly after people started installing OS 4.X on their DTivos. Tivo didn't like the idea that someone might find a way to enable the HMO feature on a DTivo that they charge $99.00 for on a SA Tivo. It's unlikely the locals issue had anything to do with it.
