Not really related but...

I tried to format my drive. It is a MAXTOR DiamondMax Plus 9, 7200 rpm, 8mb buffer, 160gb. I put it in my systems, running XP Home, and it says hardware found but it does not show in my computer. It does show in the device manager though. Does anyone know why this is hapening and how to fix it? Also, does anyone know a good drive formatting utility that will let me format the hard drive to the 137 gb limit?

Awesome, that helped a million. Would have never thought to look ther, usually nothing useful. Got it partitioned but couldn't format with xp. Had to use Partition MAgic but it worked like a charm. Thanks again.
