Ok here's the deal. I locked myself out of my tivo. Right after I edited the rc.sysinit file I was stuck on the powering up screen.
Next I hooked my HD to my PC and when I load the default kernel I can't mount my hard drive. It says success but it says please specify filesystem.
Next I rebooted and chose byteswapping but then it says "kernel:panic unable to mount root fs 3:02" and i get locked out.
I am baffled, i have seen simliar posts but no solutions that have worked. I know others have had this problem. Please any information would be greatly apprecited. I just want to mount my hard drive so I can edit the rc.sysinit file.
Thanks!
