View Full Version : exporting fsid

I have sucessfully copied over and burned one show. :D

Many, Many Thanks to all those developers who made this possible.

On my second attempt though I keep failing, I come back and its locked up and I have to unplug the the reciever (Phillips - DSR704) and start over to get bash from terminal.

Here is the message left on terminal when this happens. Any ideas? I have a wired Linksys at 10mbs and my transfer rate is approx .49 mb/s (thats a little slow isn't it?) - Any help is appreciated.

"crc mismatch" sounds like you may have a dodgy copy of tserver. Try re-installing it.

I get the crc mismatch error all the time on my S2 DTivos but it's never caused me any problems when using TyTool for extraction. The messages posted are pretty typical of what I'd expect to see during a normal extraction.

I'd try performing the extraction with your DSR704 in standby mode. You may also want to try shutting down some of the other processes running in the background as it sounds like you may have something else running that's causing your Tivo to lock up while extracting. Do a "ps x" to display a list of all processes currently running on the Tivo and then do a "kill -9 XXX" where XXX is the number associated with the process you wish to shut down.
