I have been searching for a way to change my resolutions to a more dvd compatable ty file on my monte'd s2 40 hour, everythinmg I've found is for Series 1's... Can someone point me to a thread or help me?

Change your recording options in the TiVo itself. Use Best Quality for 780x480 I believe.

You can chnage the resolutions which Best etc use with TiVoWeb with the Resource module, if your particular software version is supported.
