This is probably a FAQ, but I haven't had any luck finding a good answer:
I'm going to be re-imaging my HDR6000 Tivo (Series 1 DirecTivo) pretty soon, and have been wondering if there's any good reason for me to go with 3.x OS instead of 2.5.x. For the most part, the only hacking I really care about is video extraction, and I'm using a CacheCard.
What are the lastest official versions for Series 1, 2, etc.? Any rumors about what will be new with 4.x and when that'll be out?
