help loading new net driver please

have a dsr704 allready mod'ed from ebay, but it does not have the ax8817x.o driver installed whre would you be able to get this driver and what would be the proper may to install

i do have bash access, still learning linux

You would be best advised to talk to the seller. We generally do not support units which were sold on eBay, since most if not all of them are sold with software that was illegally copied from members of this forum.

If you are willing to reimage the TiVo and start from scratch, however, we will be happy to help you learn your way around. The easiest way to start is with Sleeper's scripts, which include the ax8817x.o module.
