What is the highest software version on a Series 1

What is the highest software version running on a Series 1 Tivo? Is it hacked? Before the flames commence I have had a hell of a time doing any searches on DealDatabase most go to the page cannot display screen. Can anyone answer my search problem as well?

That really depends on the type of S1. I have a stand-alone series 1 (SA1) Phillips HDRx12 and the version is shown by tivoweb as:

Software System: 3.0-01-1-000

commonly referred to as 3.0

I have read that there will be no upgrades to this version for SA1 units.

I believe that Dtivo S1 has a 3.1 version but don't quote me.

I don't think anyone could be justified in flaming for a question of this nature posted in the newb forum but ya never know. Some people forget to apply the anti-anal-itch cream some days and it sure make's 'em cranky.
