Series 2 ftping How?

Is there a good tutorial on how to get files off my tivo onto my puter. Yes im new so please no flaming i tried awhile ago to hack the series 2 to no avail.

Use Sleeper's tivoscript to hack your S2 Tivo. The ftp program is installed automatically. The only thing you need to specify is which USB ethernet drivers you want to install and what IP addresses you need to use. Look in the S2 support section for Sleeper's sticky thread that discusses the tivoscript program.

If you want to tranfer recordings so you can transfer them back to your tivo you need mfs_ftp. D/L the program from the extraction forum. Print the readme file so you can follow the instructions.

If you want to transfer recordings just to burn DVD's just D/L the tytools package. Make sure you transfer the 2 necessary files to your tivo.

Even if the Sleepers script installs either program IT WILL BE OLD VERSIONS.

Makes sure you set up no scramble.
