B drive from two disk in a single disk

I have a Phillips 30 hr that died. I want to know if I can take the b drive which I assume has all the recordings and pair it with a new sigle drive unit. All I am after at this point is to get the recordings off and on to tape. Any suggestions would be a huge help.

Sorry, you've lost your recordings essentially. All your other drive is good for is serving as an upgrade drive or in your PC.
