Confirming Setup Problem

I plug my Tivo in and it goes thru the set up and stops at Confirming Setup @ 28%.
Anyone have any idea why it wont finish??? Model dsr6000

It's a DTV problem and nothing to do with your DSR6000. This has been well documented in these forums. Unplug your DTivo and disconnect the sat inputs. When it boots and tries to acquire the sat signal press the Tivo button and rerun guided setup. Go through all the steps and skip past the step where it checks the transponder signal strength. The next step will be where you got stuck. Let it try and acquire the sat signal but it will eventually time out and give you an error. Select the option where you'll fix it later and exit guided setup by pressing the Live TV or Tivo button. Reconnect the sat inputs and it will acquire the sat signal normally.
