Couple general questions. I've had a SA for years and did a few hacks on it. Now I've got the above DTivo and was unsure of a few things.

1) I noticed there's no video quality option. Does this mean that a) the quality is preset at maximum, b) that this 40 hr unit is actually a 40 hr unit unlike the SA which was 40 hrs in basic mode, less in others.

2) you can only run sleeper's iso with a fat32 computer, not with one using nfs.

Thanks in advance

1) DTiVos record the digital stream directly to disk, so there is no change in the stream quality or characteristics. What is on the disk is what DirecTV digitized at their multimillion dollar playout in Colorado. You can't change it. It is what it is.

2)Yes. A Fat32 (only) is needed to use the backup/restore functions of the first steps of Sleeper's ISO. NTFS will not work. BTW, if you haven't read, Do Not boot up your PC in XP with the TiVo drive attached. It writes a sig to it, and makes it unusable as is.
