Many of the threads here go on for many pages. The initial posts are often corrected and added to by later posts. For the most part, each post is informative but the meat of the topic is scattered around. I would like to save the complete thread, ie. all the posts but without having to select each thread page individually and save it. Some vBulletin or other board software would let you get ALL posts in a single, printable output format. Is there a way to do this here? If DealDatabase will not provide the capability, is there some tool/script that can automate the task.

Thanks

Thread Tools ---> Show Printable Version

You can the change to "Show 40 posts from this thread" at the bottom to reduce the number of pages.

I know how to get 40 posts per page. When there are 600 posts in a thread, 40 per page is pretty time consuming to cycle through and save.

I ask again, how do I rack up ALL (the full total of posts) in one shot?

You can't. 40 is the best you will get based on forum limits.

They don't allow it for server performance reasons.

Thanks - makes sense from the DealDatabase point of view.

Any one know of some external tools to pull the posts, 40 or whatever max is allowed at a time, and stitch them together? Basically, do automatically what I would have to do manually.
