Have a SA UK machine, were my recordings are in 16:9 aspect ratio, + Dolby prologic soundtrack
It seems that the extracted files, when converted , ready for DVD Burning, the aspect ratio is only 4:3, and sound information says it is two channel.
Am I missing an option to select these formats, or do I need to use another software package that offers these facilities?
A Rooky extraction man!

dont know about the 16:9 bit, but pro-logic is only 2 channels (the centre and rear channels are extracted from the L&R channels by the prologic decoder)

TyTool does not preserve the 16:9 tag but the video is still 16:9 - the only effect of this is to make it necessary to either manually switch the TV aspect ratio on playback or to edit the IFO tag to 16:9. IFOEdit should do it, but I don't usually bother.

Many thanks for the guidance.
Can you tell me how to "edit the IFO tag to 16:9."?

As I said, with IFOEdit.

Open the IFO, change the option, save it.
