Boot Screen 4040R

I have read up and swaped the hard drive in my Samsung 4040R and used Sleepers iso. Everything went smooth on the first try and my tivo is no longer calling in. But now when it boots, in between the "Welcome" and the "A few more seconds" screen, wierd color patches appear on screen. Is this normal or did things not go as smooth as I thought? Thank you!
